haters and sensitivity.....

hey you guys,

its ya girl JP coming at you on a very serious note today. i am going to do a post about haters and sensitiviy. some one asked me to do this a while back but since my inspiration and emotion is really hot right now, im doing it today. okay so keep in mind that this post may be a little longer than normal but it is a form of not only venting but helping. me helping the ones who undergo the most, to stay strong. it is also very raw and unedited so if iget on a touchy subject, excuse me.

let me start with this, i was never someone who everyone just adored and had people just falling at my feet. no. ive always been liked however at sometimes it may have been by very few people or by alot of people. i cant lie and say that it didnt hurt to know that only a select few out of my entire grade were fond of me but i couldnt let it stop me either.

i want everone who is enduring persecution, hateration, dishonesty, insecurities, bullying or hard times of any sort to know that you need to be strong. if they get to you that much and you feel you need to let it out, then let it out. but DONOT do it in front of them. i am not a big fan of crying but if you need to then go ahead. it is a much better alternative than holding it in. because i know from experience that when you hold it in, nothing good can come out of it...at all.

true, you shouldnt care if someone dislikes you for one reason or the other but as humans we cant help but care some times. as the old saying "sticks and stones", it has proven to be true many times in my experience. i've had countless rumors spread about me and various people turn their backs on me and straight snake me for no reason at all. but one thing that always helped me was expressing myself through creative arts. whenever i felt overwhelmed i would draw or write a song or dance or do improv acting so that i could mask that everything i was acting out were my true feelings. and believe me it helped.

i have always felt that i have some time of obligation to be the "strong" one as you may say but that does not always happen. because my previous concieved definition of strong was to have no feelings or emotions about anything and to carry everything on your shoulders but i was terribly wrong. by me doing that, it caused serious health issues even a few hospitalizations that were not fun. so when you think that burrying things deep will help you, it'll do the exact opposite. and i know that for a fact.

now, haters are infinite. they will never be extinct in this life. so there's no need to dwell on them because you know what, they wont go away...ever. so you should learn to cope and move on. just because someone says something about you doesn't make it true at all. even if no one else believes you (ive been in plenty of those situations) still find comfort in knowing that you know its the truth.

because while they were the ones hating on me and laughing behind my back, in the end i came out as the valedictorian or as the one who had various top schools at my feet or the one who had countless people whom she didn't even know congradulating her. that was me, not them. because i stayed focused. and majority of them went to some of the worst schools or ended up with bad outcomes in general all because they spent their time tryna do ME instead of worrying about THEM.

closing this post, i just wanna also inform you to NEVER compromise yourself for anyone. i tried that and still ended up the loser in the situation. so its best to stick to your guns and continue to pursue you, not someone else. and everything that the snakes and haters and negative people in general did WILL come back to get them. revenge is beneath me but what goes around WILL come around. that was pretty much all i had to say people. thanks for reading and please take this to heart, it is the dead honest truth and will only help you.

much love and concern,
thee josh* paramore*

About Me

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Calynn, 20x Award Winning businesswoman, media personality and former pageant queen (Miss United States Universe Tourism 2021, Miss World America Nation 2020). I started this blog when I was barely 15 years old in January 2011 as a supplement to my application to the retail business internship at the downtown Chicago Nordstrom mall! I stayed there for 3 years learning the fundamentals of everything fashion business from sales and marketing to media and modeling. This was a phenomenal foundation to my career as it gave me the rudimentary knowledge and competitive edge that I needed to be successful!  From there, I went on to college and obtained my first degree in Business and Humanities (the arts and social sciences). I wrote as a freelance journalist and editor for several large publications and hosted live cable television for two years. I walked countless red carpets being a VIP media guest at major industry events all over the country a

38 Underrepresented World Wide Talents That You Need to Know!

In a world where so many great entrepreneurs and artists can become famous at the act of one viral video online, it's easy to get lost in the misconception that with social media's "power," anybody who is talented is already known. After all, it isn't as difficult to gain exposure and "get big" as it was 20 years ago before the Internet's Massive Media takeover, right? Partially yes, however, social media also makes the market 10x as saturated as it was 20 years ago. Thus, are you really that much further ahead if all of your competition has the means to one-up you, free of cost and inconvenience, just by posting to their online accounts? It's a lot to think about. That is why we here at The Fresh Faces Project work hard to make sure that the artists and entrepreneurs and do-gooders who are underrepresented and don't get the fame and acknowledgment that their talents merit are given a platform. That platform is us. When creating thi

The Search For "Mr. Right": 2 Years On Every App Taught Me This

Over the last 2 years, I've been conducting what some could call a "social experiment." I have been single (by choice) for the better part of the last 2.5 years and had an epiphany a little over 2 years ago to give online dating services a shot! While it hasn't been the most miraculous experience, it has certainly been a valuable one! And, I strongly recommend that anyone who is looking to settle down with a life partner, give them a try! Maybe you don't need to sign up for almost every app known to man like I have LOL, but at least try the major ones. This blog is a detailed account of my findings as a young, sweet, successful woman with online dating.  For clarity, I've added the below chart for you to understand who I am and what I have to offer versus what I am seeking. This foundational knowledge is key to comprehending the results of my "experiment." I, as a 26 year old woman who is the CEO of a successful small business ( www.caycomcreate.co
